CHRISTMAS IN PARIS
(in aid of The Five Stars Scanner Appeal)

and Thursday, 23rd and 24th November, 2005
The Five Stars Scanner Appeal grew out of an idea from Chris Bisson (ex-Coronation Street) and together with four celebrity ambassadors he has set a target to raise £1million by 2008 for a new MRI scanner that will go into the new Manchester Children’s hospital, when Pendlebury closes.
The money has to be raised by this date as the scanner has to be dropped
into a special copper lined room during the build process. The annual
Ladies Day was themed this year for Paris.
Held over two days, it was a ladies day of shopping, eating and lots
of drinking. The shopping started at 10.30 each day and lunch was followed
by a catwalk fashion show, finishing in the afternoon.
Chris Bisson, Ryan Giggs, Max Beasley, Lee Sharp, Steve Arnold and Tim
Aspinal also joined the runway to entertain the ladies; together with
some of the female cast members of The Street.
Bellagio Time was pleased to donate two special edition 3.5 carat diamond
gents timepieces; one for each day. In addition to the auction prizes,
we also donated monies from any sales made. In total over the two days,
we were very pleased to be able to raise £4,800.00 for the Appeal
